JDM & Japanese cars — paint-safe, in your garage.

GT-Rs, Supras, Type Rs, RX-7s, an NSX in the corner of the garage. A lot of these cars wear soft, thin Japanese paint and carry real value in being original — so we read the paint before we touch it, correct gently, and treat your pride and joy like the asset it's becoming.

Built for Japanese paint

Soft clears and real history ask for a gentle hand.

How a JDM detail runs

Considered, paint-safe, done at your door.

  • 01
    Tell us the car

A GT-R, a Supra, a Type R, an RX-7, a GR Yaris — whatever's in the garage. We tailor the approach to the paint, the modifications and how the car gets used.

  • 02
We read the paint & confirm

Original or resprayed, single-stage or clear, soft or hard — we assess it and tell you what correction is honest before we touch it. No surprises, no over-promising.

  • 03
    Paint-safe in your garage

Two-bucket hand wash, safe products on forged or painted wheels, careful around wraps, decals and aero. Decontamination and clay, measured correction where it helps, then protection laid down and the interior detailed to match. You're welcome to watch the whole thing.

    A walkthrough at the end

We show you the finished car and give honest advice on keeping it right — including protection that genuinely suits a weekend or stored build.

The Refresh and Signature cover interior and exterior care; one-step correction removes swirls and restores gloss. Every price confirmed against your car before we begin.

Honest by default

No "10-year" promises. Just protection that suits the build.

Enthusiast owners get sold a lot of hype — especially around ceramic coatings and decade-long guarantees. We won't do that. We'll tell you plainly what a given protection will and won't do on your paint, how long it realistically lasts, and whether it's worth it for a car that's driven hard on weekends or stored under a cover. If the honest answer is "you don't need that," that's the answer you'll get.

The detail in the detail

These cars are appreciating — treat them like it.

The Japanese performance car has quietly become an investment-grade asset — clean, original GT-Rs, Supras, NSXs and rotaries now sell for what was once supercar money. That changes the maths on detailing. The paint spans a wide range — genuine single-stage on some older icons, soft thin clear on the 90s legends, harder modern clear on a GR — and each wants a different hand. What stays constant is restraint: on a car whose value lives in its originality, the goal is to clear the swirls and bring back gloss without machining away paint you can never replace.

That's why we read the paint properly before we commit, and why we're comfortable stopping short of dead-flat perfection when chasing it would cost originality. The same thinking carries to a car's contact points and contamination — bonded iron from spirited driving, fallout on forged wheels, marks around aftermarket aero — all decontaminated and worked by hand. Looked after this way, the car keeps both its finish and the history that makes it worth something.

Questions

JDM care, answered plainly.

Can you correct soft Japanese paint?

Yes — carefully. A lot of Japanese paint, old and new, is softer and thinner, so it marks easily. We measure first and use the gentlest combination that clears the defects, removing only what's needed. We'd rather leave a faint mark than chase the clear coat and cost you originality.

Modified, widebody or wrapped cars?

Comfortable with all of it — aftermarket aero, widebody arches, vinyl wraps, PPF, carbon and forged wheels. Washed by hand, careful around badges, decals and edges. If something needs a particular touch, we ask before we start.

My car is mostly stored?

Some of our favourite cars to look after. A stored GT-R or Supra usually needs gentle decontamination, a careful wash, light correction where it helps, and protection suited to a car that sits more than it drives. We preserve the original paint, not erase it.

Do you come to me?

Yes. Your car is detailed in your own garage or driveway, owner present, across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West — never dropped at a busy carwash. All we need is a flat, shaded spot, confirmed when we book.
